Love is Evol was a scenographical project lead by a scenograph called Lien Wauters. As a person I have always been interested in scenography and always tried to use it to express certain feelings and situations. I see everything around us as a kind of “set-up” scene in which we live. This project gave me the chance to experiment with it. My story was about two friends, and the line between love and friendship, in the form of an opera. The stage was very sober, I created a perspective with textile that starts in the box at the back of the stage that becomes wider to the front of the stage. There was a pillar in the middle of the box, that symbolized a tree, which in turn symbolized a person, in an abstract way; the best friend.
